Can you believe we’re already more than halfway done with the 2022–2023 school year? 🤯 If you and your students are celebrating the 100th day of school, we’ve got three great read-alouds to recommend from our friends at Random House Children’s Books. These 100th day of school books are also fun to recommend to families so students can celebrate their accomplishments at home too.
Plus, until February 3 you can enter to win all of the 100th day books below right here!
Harry Versus the First 100 Days of School by Emily Jenkins, illustrations by Pete Oswald
If you haven’t read this warm and funny chapter book, you’re in for a treat—it’s all about one first grader’s first 100 days of school and adjusting to the ups and downs of classroom and family life. It’s written in 100 short chapters too, so if you start now, you can finish by the big day!
Activity to try: While writing a story that’s 100 chapters long might be a little intimidating for your kiddos, you could try writing a story that’s 100 sentences or 100 words long!
