Now, with A.I. technology you can design your very own figurine in seconds. The New York Times wrote about a recent social media trend that is using ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence programs to create action-figure versions of people.
How would you design your own action figure? Would it be hyper-realistic or super stylized? What aspects of yourself would you want to highlight? Your looks and personality? Your interests and talents? What accessories might you include?
The trend has frustrated illustrators who oppose the use of unlicensed artwork to train artificial intelligence tools, and who remain concerned about the effects of A.I. on their livelihoods. Does this trend concern you? Why, or why not?
