Pete Weir
Pete Weir, Discovery Education’s Chief Product Officer, is responsible for creating intuitive digital resources that empower educators to create modern learning environments. Prior to joining Discovery Education, Pete led the product development team and managed all business intelligence, analytics, and data engineering functions for customer-facing assets at Red Ventures’ Bankrate consumer financial services company. Pete also served as Red Ventures’ Vice President of Digital Marketing and led a team of product managers and engineers to improve the user experience and engineering on all mobile and eCommerce experiences across Red Venture’s home services portfolio. A graduate of the University of Richmond, Pete then earned his master’s in business administration from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. Pete lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and three children.
